Text to speech with python and linux



Hi, I made a video about using gtts on windows, so here is the one for linux. Is pretty the same as the one for windows, but now I show how to install the module with pip and how I can play the sound directly from python, instead of manually double clicking on the file.



The gtts module allows you to transform text in the language you want in an mp3 audio file that speaks the text with google translate voices. Very cool.



In a next post I coul make you see how to use different languages in the same mp3 file to use it for teaching purposes...
